Family Program

Alcoholism/chemical dependency adversely effects all those who care about the addicted individual.  Family members and significant others have the right to services whether or not the addicted individual seeks help.  The Recovery Center is committed to promoting healing for the entire family.  The Family Program was especially designed to meet the needs of those who have experienced the painful devastation of living with addiction.

Strengthening Families

This program is designed to help parents improve their parenting skills, reduce their children’s risk factors, and enhance the protective factors in their lives to prevent the onset of alcoholism or other addictions. Strengthening Families is a selective multi-component, family focused program that addresses family management problems and attitudes toward Alcohol, Tobacco, Other Drugs and Gambling (ATOD-G) use and problem behavior and provides 7 sessions of prevention programming for parents of children aged 6-11, and 7 sessions for children aged 12-14 who face a variety of challenges and risks.

 Overview of Addiction Program

This program is designed as a four-session curriculum which offers an overview of addiction. The program is open to family members of clients who are currently receiving treatment at the Recovery Center.
